Kunz, Ondřej ; Myslín,, Jiří (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor) ; Čupr, Karel (advisor)
Based on the architectural study from the second year of the bachelor study program, the following bachelor thesis is elaborated, which further disseminates the study to other subsequent stages of the project documentation. The theme of the thesis is the new family viticulture in the village Velké Němčice for winery Kamil Prokeš. The building will include both production facilities and housing, accommodation for guests and a wine shop with an adjacent tasting room. The building is situated on the outskirts of Velké němčice, where there are old farm buildings and gardens, a football field and a one-storey garage parking lot. The land is unconstructed and currently there are only planted trees. On the sloping land is designed one object, which is divided into several parts. Wine production is located in the basement, which is accessible from the north side and allows the grain and expedition. The above-ground floor consists of three interconnected masses. The central part, where the wine cellar and tasting room are located, is designed as a single-story, glass-covered building with a flat, green roof. On both sides of the building there are two identical, two-storey buildings with a saddle roof, where the western building houses the wineries housing and the eastern accommodation for the guests. All three masses are visually interconnected by the overlapping flat roof of the central object. The unified building, which is completed on the northern and southern side with the terrace for the guests and owners of the winery, is created. In front of the building is a model vineyard, which refines the overall view of the facade of visible concrete and also unambiguously points out the function of the object. The bottom structure is designed as a monolithic reinforced concrete block and the above-ground floor consists of lightweight concrete panels, folded ceiling structures and a roof saddle roof. The central part has a core where the adjoining facilities are located,

Revitalization Program of Floral Garden in Kromeriz
Guzdek, Adam ; Šupler, Libor (referee) ; Jura, Pavel (advisor)
Today's entrance through honorable courtyard is so representative that there's no sense of replacing it by a new one anywhere else. The entrance object has a triangular tympanum including Maxmilian Josef's gold signature and coat of arms. It looks like noble city palace of that period. Sense of the first floor, so called piano nobile, is slightly recognizing on a facade. It's the floor with a larger high that's intended for representation. Therefore I decided to use the historical object fully and all the visitors' equipment, exhibition and lecture spaces are placed right here. New-buildings in the garden are minimized that way. I conceived both of the resolving gardens very sparingly. The reason is their historical essence. Always they were only related to the formal part of the Flower garden. Premises used for any purpose (breeding of rare birds, resource for rabbit hill, growing tulips and oranges). Květnice with the cut lane walls to allow the visitor facilities and provide some exciting long-distance views Converging walls, disorientation in space, entertainment in the bowling alley, in the maze. These elements should remain a formal part of the garden today. They should be isolated and without competition. I design gardens with order, as well as the designed Libosad itself.

Modern winery complex hotel Hrůdek is situated on the north part of village Velké Pavlovice, in the heart of south Moravia the Czech Republic. Its significant placement on the south hillside offers beautiful views to the vineyards and apricot plantations. The architectural form of the building is inspired by the regularity and rhythm of vineyard lines, significant horizontal landscape around and rounded contour lines. Embedding of the building into the slope reacts to the topography of the terrain and refers to the traditional principle of local two-storey wine press houses. From the upper part is the entrance to the accommodation part and from the lover part of the slope is entrance to the wine cellar – the gallery of wine. Hotel offers 4-stars class accommodation, two congress halls, restaurant, wellness and gallery of the wine. Project integrates energetic eco-friendly concepts and its proposed as the self-sufficient building.
The Viticulture Sekt Jan Petrák,Kobylí
Minárová, Tereza ; Erben, Adam (referee) ; Pavlovský, Tomáš (advisor) ; Sedláková, Markéta (advisor)
The subject of this Bachelor thesis is a design of an operational facilities for winery Sekt Jan Petrák. Operational facilities include wine related recreational facilities with wine tasting facilities and an accommodation. The area of interest is located in the center of the cadastral territory of Kobylí village (Břeclav district), in a traditional rural countryside. The construction site copies the shape of bented rectangle and is mostly flattened. The only exeption is the southeast part of the site, which is slightly decreased. The shorter side located in the southeast adjacents to a road and creates simultaneously a border of the site. There is an existing two-story house with a close-couple roof (will be replaced with a new one), with a wine shop and an office of the owner. The second house is located in the courtyard. It is an original agricultural one-storey house (also will be replaced with a new one), with a close-couple roof. The building is currently used for a production of sparkling wine. Last but not least, there is a garden in the southeast part of the site. Newly constructed objects will be a substitute for the original two, which are in a bad technical condition. The condition doesn’t correspond to the current requirements for operating functions. The wine production will be dislocated outside of the village due to the current spatial plan of Kobylí village. The newly planned functional use of both objects is to preserve the function of the wine store and its facilities and at the same time to create additional storage spaces. Both buildings will fulfill the recreational function of accommodation for guests with wine tasting facility.
Roots of Moravian Urban Structure
Mohelník, Ladislav ; Löw, Jiří (referee) ; Prokeš, Oldřich (referee) ; Hrabec, Josef (referee) ; Koutný, Jan (advisor)
The thesis has been written on the basis of main architectural concepts and their application in real life within a historical context investigation. Main architectural concepts are represented in a harmony of architectural composition that deals with relations among form, structure and space in the unique art work. Genius loci play very important role in the architectural creation - it represents a special and extra-ordinary urban locality and its architectural value in the historical, geographical and cultural context. The origin of Ostravice village within the historical frame concept of Moravia domain is the topic of this thesis. Other historical documents gave information about Bruneswerde as the Brno Castle. That means Brno Castle had to be founded not in Brno (as it has been consid-ered for many years) but it was located in Beskydy at Ostravice. The sacred city – Civitas Dei had been located in Bruneswerde region in early ages as the centre of European culture, education and spiritual life. Civitas Dei – divine Jerusalem in the transcription of St. Augustine's book De civitate Dei – is not only glorification of God and religious fantasy. It is also one of significant clues for recognition of historical architecture. The depiction of unknown settlement from the book of unde-fined origin is a superb testimony about extinct architectural works. They are legible from cadastral maps. Brno Castle - residence of nobility and power served shelter to St. Vojtěch, St. Prokop, St. Václav and St. Ludmila as it is obvious for the mentioned picture. Three major temples, three com-position axes symbolized by three towers on coins are in analogical relation to Brno triangle of four saints - the Saint family of Brno temples. Powerful ambitions of Brno City principals and clergy are inscribed into the urban structure in the way of composition relations which are legible to them who devoted themselves to the mystery of harmony. The absence of historical continuity affects personal attitudes and also identity of the whole community. The architecture truly reflects the past state of polis and it is eloquent even after its death. The architectural composition relations influence the natural environment for long time, longer than the architectural work existence. The geometric order of Renaissance Brno existence has not been in attention of architects so far. The features were discovered in characteristic paintings by Albrecht Durer. They are evidently secret works of the genius. A meaningful collaborator and follower in the extensive project was also his friend Jan Čert from Brno and lately from Vienna. His noble genealogy played a significant role in history of Silesia and Moravia for centuries. It is tendency to consider him as Austrian or even German architect. It is because of the fact that the genealogy tree of his noble family had roots in Moravia. It is supposed that Durer with Jan Čert´s support created the extraordinarily monumental architectural and urban works in Brno. A remarkable consensus in the urban composition of two squares and transition of traditional urban structure of Ostravice Civitas Dei into the modern Brno is also confirmed due to the identification of noble creators and owners, who were at the foundation, transformation and extinction of elements of the Moravian urban structure.

The project addresses the current unfavorable situation of the theater, which is, in the long-term, interest to the city of Uherské Hradiště itself. For my own proposal I chose an unused site inside a meander of the Morava River. Besides direct contact with the river, the place is marked by its wide visual links to the surrounding areas and, at present, also the separation from the city center. As a result of the proposal, my hypothesis is that the overall regeneration and attraction of the embankment area will be enhanced by a proposed placement of a footbridge connecting both river banks. My aim was to build links between the theater and its outdoor spaces, which open up to the city with its publicly accessible areas. I believe that because of the chosen location on the embankment of the Morava river not only do I propose a public building but to extend the city center itself. One of the main objectives was to connect the natural element of the river and the surrounding environment with art, culture and the city itself.
